After a two year vow of silence, Marcus has decided it's time to talk . . . and talk and talk and talk. Warning - This video may not be suitable for little ears. Yes, you heard right. He's got the letters mixed around for fish and added a 't' but we'll fine tune that later on:)

Hawaii
Have Blanket, Will Travel

Marcus and I flew down on Jim's trip to Honolulu. We stayed while Jim flew back home, stopped to change a flat tire in the employee parking lot in subzero temps, and then turned around again to meet up with us back in Hawaii.

Some of you may think we cut and paste old photos onto the blog since it's cold and rainy every time we go to Hawaii but the addition of Marcus is proof that we just have bad luck! We still had a great time and did get 2 days of sunshine.

In the bottom left hand corner you'll find Jim heading out for a swim (after he ran up and down the beach several times in his snorkel gear to warm up). In the top right corner you'll find what I'm fairly certain is a rescue helicopter.

More Birthday Pictures
Marcus' official birthday party was on Friday, January 23rd. We had two additional birthdays to celebrate - Grandma Pam's and 'Lauren-the-girl-who-lives-downstairs'. (AKA Marcus' nanny when Jim and I both work).
Familiar hat . . .yet looks a little smaller this year. . . and cleaner.

"Tar!" Marcus loves stars so we hung stars from the ceiling. All day long he ran around, pointing and yelling "TAR!"

Happy Birthday Grandma Pam!

Marcus' contracted out his gift opening yet again this year although he wasn't content to sit back and watch the whole event. . .
